Any computer that can read these files will work. Files are named for railroad reporting marks and a reporting mark index is provided. All car data is included but none of the extraneous information at the front and back of each volume. All roads reporting cars have a separate file which results in duplication of pages where multiple listing appear on one page. Files can be viewed with any graphics program but importing them into WordPerfect or Word works best. A picture publisher program such as Adobe PhotoDeluxe is better for quick but incomplete viewing. Thumbnails can be seen in newer version of Windows Explorer and expanded for easy reading. The pages will print completely and readably with the proper printer. Ink jet printers capable of 360 dpi or better are recommended. Laser printers should be 300 dpi or better with enough RAM to print the whole page. Some older CD-ROM drives may be incompatable with the disks. If this problem occurs, try another computer or return the disk for refund. If ordering separately, shipping is $2.50 for one disk, $4.000 for two or $7.00 for three or more. If ordered with car kits, the $7.00 per order standard shipping charge applies.
